Dear Donors,
Thanks to your generous donations, Nighaban Welfare Trust successfully distributed 2,000 ration bags this Ramadan—despite a delayed start on 22nd March due to limited funds.
Most bags were distributed in lower-income schools, serving a dual purpose:
1/ Helping families in need
2/ Encouraging school attendance by offering children rations, gift bags and balls.
It helped us gain powerful insights into their daily struggles:
- They want to generate income
- They are desperate for their children’s higher education and vocational training, but simply can’t afford it.
Thank you for messaging me how much more funds I needed, it made me cry in gratitude.
